The year 1970 brought Sean a sense of comfort when he received an antique soft fleece blanket which had been handed down through family history. The worn-out edges of the blanket carried the memories of family time and bedtime stories and peaceful moments of comfort. The idea for SoftHaven emerged when Sean discovered that blankets should serve as protective spaces for people to experience their most treasured life experiences.
